Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to properly introduce Winchester the way I had hoped. He was born as a single kitten to my rescue cat Duchess and quickly became a little fighter. After being diagnosed with swimmer syndrome and later pica, we worked hard to help him through home rehabilitation with water therapy, hobbling exercises, and plenty of physical therapy. Despite all of our efforts, and even after seeing major improvements in his mobility, his little body just couldn’t fight anymore, and he sadly passed away earlier this week. While his time with us was short, Winchester brought so much love into our lives and will always be remembered.
